Rick Andersen is a regional landscape artist living on the outskirts of Bega in southern New South Wales.

The gestural drawings on canvas and paper are frequently done with a feather and include natural ochres sourced locally. Ochres are also used in the oils on canvas.

 

Danielle Pirrie is a professional portrait painter living on the Far South Coast of Australia. Danielle’s work is very individualized, with the goal of excellent likeness as well as capturing something essential, a true sense of the subject of her work. Her paintings and drawings can be found in private collections all around the world and she has successfully completed portrait commissions since 1980.

Rachel Burns is a contemporary abstract landscape painter.  The works have highly textured surfaces that are reflective of the landmarks in the rural landscape.

Ulan Murray’s sculptures incorporate the romantic and whimsical nature of the landscape. They are reflections on natural forms :trees, shells, seeds and pods.  Forms are simplified and abstracted to illustrate the essential shape of the natural object.

The Yoga Studio Bega is a fully equipped Yoga space run by the community for the community. We offer a diverse range of Yoga classes; from beginners to restorative, post and pre natal classes, meditation and general classes. Teachers have a background in a variety of traditions including Iyengar, Ki Yoga and Satyananda Yoga, and we all believe in sharing the benefits of Yoga with the wider community.
